I'm Jordan. Nerd, researcher and writer, sometimes for a living, sometimes just because.

This site is the "just because" part. Articles, essays, reviews, half-formed thoughts, fiction when it's ready and notes when it isn't. In regular hours, I work in policy in Abuja, which means I spend my days writing documents that have to be just right. Here's where I write the stuff that just has to be mine.

What I'm actually interested in, and what you're likely to see on here: film, television, video games and writing across genres of science-fiction, fantasy, cosmic horror, and literary fiction. I read a lot. Some of what I'm reading and thinking about will end up here too.
